Hunger Around Us - A Report on County and Congressional District Food Insecurity and County Food Cost in the United States in 2014
We believe that addressing the problem of hunger requires a thorough understanding of the problem itself. For the sixth consecutive year, Feeding America has undertaken the Map the Meal Gap project to continue learning about the face of food insecurity at the local level. By understanding the local need, communities can develop more effective strategies for reaching those who are struggling with hunger.

Improving Food Access - Austin City Council Work Session June 15, 2016
The City of Austin's Office of Sustainability created a work group process and selected participants to examine food access in Austin, barriers to food access, SNAP enrollment barriers, to create recommendations and identify "next steps" towards ending hunger in Austin.

The Perryman Group was recently asked to study the potential economic and fiscal effects of the “Feeding with Impact” initiative, a proposal to enhance the distribution of surplus, healthy produce in the state of Texas. This report presents findings from the analysis.
