Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Food Bank. We have weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities—perfect for individuals and groups—helping prepare food donations for distribution and distributing food at mobile food pantries.

We have new health and safety processes (including volunteer eligibility requirements) in place to keep our volunteers, staff, and clients safe. Before signing up to volunteer, please review the important information and instructions provided in our Frequently Asked Questions here.

If you would like to help from home, please consider starting an individual or team fundraiser to host a “virtual food drive” and raise money to help the Food Bank purchase food and distribute meals. Funds raised through a VFD are flexible – the Food Bank can put your dollars toward the area of greatest need, which helps us prepare for and respond to evolving situations like COVID-19.
