And then you look to your left and see a special treat that brings back memories or one you’ve been meaning to try.

We’re here to say it’s OK. It’s OK to treat yourself to some philanthropy. You know it’ll make you feel good to tear that $1, $3 or $5 pad and hand it to the friendly H-E-B cashier who always knows the right thing to say.

And the good feeling lasts well after you leave the store, because you’re part of something big that helps the hungry. Chewing gum manufacturers only wish they could recreate this long lasting power.

Thank you for indulging at your local H-E-B and Central Market stores in Central Texas now through June 25.
