About the Role
The core focus of this role is creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for neighbors shopping at the Fresh Harvest Market. Market Service Volunteers provide one-on-one assistance to neighbors as they move through the market, including supporting client intake and assisting with the shopping experience.
You’re a great candidate if you are:
- Are bilingual and fluent in Spanish
- Enjoy working with people and providing a warm, positive customer experience
- Have experience providing trauma-informed support to diverse individuals and can use discretion during sensitive conversations
- Are passionate about food, nutrition, and serving the community
- Minimum age to participate: 18 years old
