Market Restock Volunteers

Our Fresh Harvest Market provides a dignified, choice-based shopping experience where neighbors can select fresh produce, shelf-stable groceries, and garden-grown items that meet their household’s needs. Market Restock Volunteers help receive and organize food, keep shelves stocked, and ensure the market remains clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Market Service Volunteers

If you’re looking for a longer-term volunteer role at the Fresh Harvest Market, you may enjoy serving as a Market Service Volunteer, where you can provide one-on-one assistance to clients. If you’d like to make an ongoing, weekly commitment to assist in a more meaningful way, read on for the requirements of the role. 

About the Role 

The core focus of this role is creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for neighbors shopping at the Fresh Harvest Market. Market Service Volunteers provide one-on-one assistance to neighbors as they move through the market, including supporting client intake and assisting with the shopping experience.  

You’re a great candidate if you are:  

• Are bilingual and fluent in Spanish 
• Enjoy working with people and providing a warm, positive customer experience 
• Have experience providing trauma-informed support to diverse individuals and can use discretion during sensitive conversations 
• Are passionate about food, nutrition, and serving the community 
• Minimum age to participate: 18 years old 

Next Steps & Commitment 

This role requires a consistent weekly commitment and completion of required training to ensure a positive and supportive experience for our neighbors.
