Empowering clients with the knowledge and skills to make healthier food choices is the goal of the Capital Area Food Bank’s “Power of Choice†nutrition education classes for children.
Eighty-one year old Frederick Thomas is the Food Bank's Volunteer of the Quarter. He has dedicated more than 650 hours in more than six years to help fight hunger as an administrative volunteer.
