Group volunteer opportunities are available in both Austin and Waco. Most groups serve in our warehouse, where volunteers help inspect, sort, and pack food for distribution. Depending on location and availability, opportunities may also be available in our Fresh Harvest Market, kitchen, or Fresh Harvest Farm.

Planning ahead helps us find the best experience for your group.

If your preferred volunteer date is within the next two weeks, please have your group members sign up as individuals where there is room. We cannot process new group requests less than two weeks before a volunteer date.

If your preferred volunteer date is more than two weeks away, please find a shift on the calendar where there are openings (Austin, Waco). Then please submit a group request form to begin the scheduling process.

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your request:

• A member of our Volunteer Engagement team will respond within five business days.
• Your reservation is confirmed only after you receive your group's unique registration link.
• Group members must register no later than five business days before the scheduled volunteer shift.
• Any unclaimed spaces will be released for public registration after that deadline.

Interested in bringing a volunteer experience to your office or another location?

We can work with organizations to create custom volunteer projects. Off-site projects require a minimum sponsorship of $2,500, with final costs based on group size and project materials.
