The Volunteer Ambassador Program aims to engage energetic and committed volunteers in the mission of the Food Bank by serving as representatives and advocates in our community. Ambassadors can help the Food Bank at fairs, speaking engagements, festivals, concerts, and other events. Ambassadors may attend community events during regular business hours, at night, or on the weekends and are required to attend 5 events per year.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must agree to a background check
- One year commitment and minimum of five Food Bank events per year
- Complete online application and training (1 hour)
- Agree to wear Volunteer Ambassador shirt and Food Bank name badge at all events
How to Sign Up?
Step 1: Submit online application.
Step 2: If you receive an email confirmation that your application has been accepted, attend a one hour Ambassador Orientation and Training. $30.00 fee for the background check is due at the beginning of the orientation.
Step 3: Begin signing up for available opportunities! “Ambassador Calls” are sent at least once a month by our volunteer department with various events that our ambassadors can sign up to attend.
Our energetic, committed Volunteer Ambassadors are trained to represent the Food Bank out in the community. As an ambassador, you’ll help spread our message and grow support for our mission. Apply online.
