Freedmen’s, a beer garden lounge and smokehouse, has a collection of more than 160 whiskeys giving whiskey lovers a chance to explore. Whiskey enthusiasts can enjoy Whiskey Wednesdays with $3 whiskey of the month during their happy hour.
Whiskey aficionados can get a chance to win a bit of distilling history while helping put a meal on the table for Central Texans in need. The Food Bank has been gifted a rare, collectible 1980 vintage bottle of O.F.C. whiskey that will be raffled off with the goal of raising $50,000 or provide 200,000 meals for families facing hunger. Guests can purchase a raffle ticket for $50 during happy hour on February 15 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are only 1,000 tickets available and the drawing will take place on February 28.
For those who can’t make it, tickets can be purchased online before midnight on February 27.
