Annual MLK Day March and Food Drive

For years, the Austin community gathers to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior by uplifting diversity and multi-culturalism in our community at an annual march and rally. The march begins on Monday, January 20 at 9:00 A.M. at the University of Texas at Austin near the MLK statue on the East Mall and continues through downtown Austin to ends with a community festival at Huston-Tillotson University. The festival kicks off at at 11:15 A.M. and will last until 3:30 P.M.This year's celebration includes vendors and live music.  As your head to the march, don't forget to bring healthy, non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank.  Look for our white donation boxes at both campuses.
