College Food Access Grant Opportunity
The Central Texas Food Bank is excited to announce a College Food Access Grant Opportunity
COLLEGE FOOD ACCESS GRANTS – REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS
A total of $50,000 is available for innovative food access projects that seek to advance food equity on college campuses in the City of Austin. CTFB’s goal is to support college students, colleges and universities in their work towards building campus food systems that allow all students to participate and thrive.
Eligible campuses include Huston-Tillotson University, Austin Community College campuses within Austin city limits, St. Edward’s University, Concordia University and the University of Texas at Austin.
Student groups, student government organizations, and/or campus-based student support or emergency services departments are eligible to apply.
Application deadline is September 30, 2022.
Technical assistance calls will take place via zoom on Monday, August 1st from 2:00pm – 3:00pm as well as Friday, September 9th from 10:00am-11:00am. To register to attend a technical assistance call complete this brief sign-up and the zoom link will be shared with you ahead of the call.
