Our Programs

Connecting Central Texans with food, resources and opportunities.

There is no single experience of hunger, so there is no single response.

The Central Texas Food Bank offers programs that meet immediate needs while creating pathways to greater stability over time. Some provide access to nutritious food. Others connect neighbors with benefits, health resources, education, and workforce opportunities.

Together with our nonprofit community partners and our direct-service programs, we help make food, resources and opportunities more accessible throughout our 21-county service area.

Children's Programs

Children need reliable access to nutritious food throughout the year, including when school meals may not be available. The most vulnerable times for children are afterschool, during holidays, weekends, and the summer.

Our children's programs work with schools, colleges and community organizations to connect kiddos and their families with meals and groceries.

Military + Veterans Programs

Serving those who serve — and those who have served.

Central Texas has a deep connection to our military community, and while we’re saddened the need exists, it is an honor to serve those who serve our country — and those who have served. We work to make nutritious food accessible through the places and organizations they already know and trust.
