We provide assistance with applications for programs like SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Medicare Savings Program, Medicaid, CHIP, TANF, WIC, and utility assistance. Our team helps you understand eligibility requirements and guides you through the application process to ensure you receive the support you need.

Need help completing a new or renewal SNAP application? We can also help you apply for other government benefits, including Medicaid, CHIP, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, and Medicare Savings Program.

Did you know? You can apply for SNAP online today. Visit the Your Texas Benefits website to create a secure account and complete your application. You can also make changes to an existing account at www.yourtexasbenefits.com.

Documents + Information Needed To Apply:

  • Proof of identity (for everyone in the household)
  • Proof of income
  • Bank statements (two months)
  • Documents for immigration status
  • Rent or mortgage information
  • Medical costs
  • Dependent care expenses
  • Child support payments

The Fresh Harvest Market is Central Texas Food Bank’s on-site pantry, offering a welcoming, choice-based experience for neighbors accessing services at our Austin facility. It is available to individuals completing benefits applications or receiving support through our Benefits Enrollment Services (BES) team. Through this integrated approach, neighbors can access nutritious food while connecting to longer-term resources.
