Inspiring images of Stamp Out Hunger and why you should volunteer today.

May11

After the Reggae Rainpocolypse of 2015, our community is responding to help us make up the fundraising loss with food drives, fundraisers and record participation in community events.  Thanks to you, Stamp Out Hunger is shaping up to be one of our best food drives this year.

Over the Mother’s Day weekend, letter carriers delivered your healthy, non-perishable food donations; all 99,405 pounds of them and counting.

Missed Connections

If your mail carrier missed your donation, there are four ways you can still participate:

  • Leave the bag of food by your mailbox. Your letter carrier should complete delivery this week. Consider putting your donation in a plastic bag or waterproof container.
  • Drop off your donation at any post office.
  • Deliver your donation to our headquarters at any time. We’re at 8201 South Congress Ave. If you are donating after business hours, you can place your donation in the box near the entrance.
  • Drop off your donation at any Austin-area Randalls or Midas. Check out our map to find a location near you.

Volunteers Wanted

Stamp Out Hunger keeps us busy in the warehouse, which means we’ll need adult volunteers to help us inspect and package donations ready for delivery to our 300 Partner Agencies. Consider spending a few hours with us, so we can quickly get donations to its final destination – the families who need our help.

Register to volunteer online today.
