Longstanding Partnership to Nourish Kids
For more than 30 years, Albertsons, Tom Thumb and Randalls Foundation has stood alongside the Central Texas Food Bank, (CTFB) in our mission to connect our neighbors with nutritious meals. Over the decades, their generosity has provided more than $1 million in funding to help us ensure no one in Central Texas goes without food.
Supporting the Summer Food Service Program
This summer, they’ve continued that legacy with a $15,000 O Organics® Fight Hunger Serve Hope grant to support our Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). This is the third year they’ve invested in SFSP, which provides free, nutritious meals to Central Texas children when school is out, and cafeteria meals aren’t available.
Their commitment extends beyond funding, Albertsons, Tom Thumb and Randalls team members will also join us in our onsite kitchen to help prepare meals for distribution. It’s a hands-on way to make a difference, and we’re excited to welcome them to see the impact of their support in action.
