Austin Restaurant Weeks is Back, October 1 - 10

Austin, TX – September 21, 2021 – Austin Restaurant Weeks (ARW), presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Delta Air Lines, is back for 2021! From Friday, October 1, through Sunday, October 10, participating Austin-area restaurants, bars and breweries will be offering prix-fixe menus, specialty menu items, and drink specials with a portion of sales donated to the Central Texas Food Bank. The last ARW prior to the pandemic raised enough to provide 893,000 meals for Central Texans in need. This year’s event features more than 50 participating establishments.

“We’re excited to be able to bring Austin Restaurant Weeks back for 2021,” said Mark Jackson, Chief Development Officer at the Central Texas Food Bank. “Over the past few years, the event has raised nearly a million-and-a-half meals for Central Texans facing hunger, so we’re looking forward to adding to that total this year.”

Austin Restaurant Weeks is a delicious and simple way to help fight hunger while enjoying some of the best food and drink Austin has to offer. Patrons aren’t directly solicited for donations and the proceeds help provide hundreds of thousands of meals to the one in seven Central Texans who are food insecure.

“Austin Restaurant Weeks is a special event for us to sponsor because it not only supports restaurants and chefs in Central Texas, but most importantly it helps people in our communities facing hunger,” said Lisa Nuccio, TX/OK Field Sales Manager at Tito’s Handmade Vodka. “Our collective efforts with ARW and diners can help provide food for those without by raising money for the Central Texas Food Bank, who is fighting for our neighbors on the front line of hunger relief.”

With lunch, dinner, cocktail, beer and wine options available, patrons will have many opportunities to indulge their palates while supporting the Food Bank in the fight against hunger. Participants will be offering one or more of the following options during ARW, with a set dollar donation from each going to the Food Bank:

  • A 2-3 course lunch priced at $20
  • A 3-4 course dinner priced at either $35 or $50
  • Tito’s Handmade Vodka-based cocktails
  • Establishment’s choice of beer or wine offered at various prices

“Delta is proud to sponsor Central Texas Food Bank’s Austin Restaurant Weeks and support the local community,” said Tad Hutcheson, Managing Director of Community Engagement at Delta Air Lines. “Giving back is core to who we are and we’re honored to be a part of this worthy cause. At Delta, we invest our resources to pursue a more equitable world by expanding access to the tools our neighbors need for lasting health, well-being and economic opportunity.”
