This year's Austin Reggae Festival, scheduled for Friday, April 17 through Sunday, April 19, has been canceled in compliance with the prohibition on public gatherings to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
As one of the Food Bank's largest fundraisers raising up to $200,000 per year to help fight hunger in Central Texas, the cancelation will create a significant revenue shortfall for the Food Bank at a time when the organization is strapped for resources as a result of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you would like to support the Food Bank, the best way to help is by making a monetary donation that allows us to quickly buy the food items we need to feed our neighbors in need. You can make a donation here.
Festival patrons who bought advance tickets will receive full refunds via Eventbrite. Refunds will go directly to the credit card of the patron who purchased the ticket or tickets. More information on refunds can be found here.
While we are devastated by the cancelation, the safety of our community is our priority. Austin Reggae Festival will back stronger than ever next year Friday, April 16th through Sunday, April 18. We'll see you then!
